On 25th March 2011 in Ostrava the 20th Annual Vojtěch Jarník International Mathematical Competition was held and a few members of the SMS participated in it, namely:: Szymon Draga, Mateusz Jurczyński, Joanna Zwierzyńska, Jolanta Marzec, Marek Biedrzycki, Piotr Idzik and Adam Wrzesiński.

The trip would not be possible without the traditional sightseeing of Ostrava (this time our main attraction was the zoo) and enormous quantities of fried cheese with hranolkys, a great dish from our favorite Jarnik restaurant (in which during March and April it is easier to hear "topology" than "dinner").

Szymon Draga scored the best in this international mathematical competition, getting 10 points and obtaining the 29th place in the Ist category. Congratulations!
