Seven students qualified for the finals of the competition, which will be held on 14th March 2008 in the Institute of Mathematics of the Unviersity of Silesia:

- Marta Drozdek,
- Szymon Gut,
- Mateusz Jurczyński,
- Tomasz Kociumaka,
- Ela Maniakowska,
- Mateusz Romański.

The participants listened to a short lecture concerning the pigeonhole principle of Dirichlet and then faced three problems regarding this issue.

The winners are:

1st place - Szymon Gut,
2nd place - Tomasz Kociumaka,
3rd place - Mateusz Jurczyński.
